To celebrate 2 decades of the hospitality industry in the North West, Hospitality Action will be hosting the Northern Lights Fundraising Dinner at the five star Lowry Hotel on Monday 11th September.

Established in 1837, Hospitality Action has offered vital assistance to all who work, or have worked within hospitality in the UK and who find themselves in crisis. They aim to support people who are suffering from life altering illnesses, experiencing poverty, bereavement and domestic violence as well as people who have retired from the industry and may become isolated.

The Northern Lights Dinner will bring together a group of top class, award winning chefs and sommeliers to create a 5-course dinner with matched wines and coffee. The dinner is also a great opportunity to meet up with industry experts whilst at the same time raising crucial funds for Hospitality Action.

The evening will start with a cocktail and canapé reception after which guests will enjoy a fantastic retro themed five course dinner and half a bottle of wine per person plus coffee and petit fours. There will be a live video link with the chefs in the kitchen so guests can see the action too!

The following award winning chefs are pairing up together to cook a course each:

  • Starter: Shay Cooper & Mark Poynton
  • Fish course: Andrew Nutter & Antony Shirley
  • Main course: Nigel Haworth & Warrick Dodds
  • Cheese course/savoury: Steven Doherty & Paul Askew
  • Dessert: Paul Heathcote & Steve Midgley

Tickets include a cocktail and canapé reception, five course meal including matched wines and coffee and petit fours.
