Maybe the North East isn’t quite where you’d’ expect an invasion of Japanese food to come from, but that’s what we’ve got so get on board. Not content with 6 popular spots around Tyne and Wear, Nudo Sushi Box have set up shop on Oxford Road, and 2 more restaurants are planned for Spinningfields and Mosley Street too. I was invited down to taste some of their food, and there was plenty to persuade me it’ll be worth popping in for a bite next time I’m in the area.
