The next Long Table Dining event to hit Bakerie is perfect for all you seafood enthusiasts - some fabulously fresh Scottish mussels!

The Long Table dining events are a great chance to meet new people as well as trying something new, and with this one Bakerie will be serving up Scottish Mussels with white wine and cream with frites, served with a crisp white wine.

Scottish mussels are famed for their plump, succulent sweet meat – a product of thriving within the country’s icy cold waters. Not only do they taste fantastic but they are also seriously good for you and are some of the most nutritious foods around.

Low in calories and fat, they are excellent source of protein, vitamins and Omega-3 oils that help reduce the risk of heart disease and protect against certain forms of cancer.

Although to be fair, the calorie count will definitely be higher at Bakerie’s Long Table event – these mussels will be swimming in a gloriously creamy white wine sauce and served with frites and a side of some expertly paired white wine.
