…yep – 7 is the magic number with this new collaboration from Rudy’s and the brilliant Crafty Cheese Man.
You must have heard of The Crafty Cheese Man by now. Known to his friends as Jonathan Jonathan Pearcey, he’s probably Manchester’s foremost cheese expert and someone who’s forgotten more about the stuff than you’ll ever learn.
As well as training restaurant staff throughout the city on the intricacies of cheese boards and menus, The Craft Cheese Man could also be found driving around throughout the first lockdown – delivering bags of the best cheeses in the world to people’s doorsteps – making those dark days 1000x better.
More recently you’d find him behind his massive cheese counter down at the excellent 3 Hands Deli on Deansgate Mews – selling his wares and sliding his favourites into their wonderful toasties and sandwiches. Well, now he’s got together with Rudy’s to create a pizza special with 7 CHEESES on it!
Some might say that that’s excessive, but they’d be wrong – as the world is introduced to: ‘Sette Formaggi‘ aka … SEVEN CHEESE!
This beauty features some of Jonathan’s most favourite cheeses, including Fior Di latte, Parmesan, Chepyn Blue, Apple Oak Smoked, Goats Milk, Lancashire Cheddar & Fen Farm Mascarpone. It’s then finished off with a sprinkle of Fresh Rosemary & Black Pepper!
