It’s too hot innit!? Like, it’s all I can think about at the moment – and everything is suffering. Apparently, temperatures are set to reach the 30s by the weekend – which is ridiculously silly.
Luckily for us though, creators of some seriously imaginative and creative beers, Omnipollo are coming to Wolf at the Door in the Northern Quarter this Thursday 14th July and they’re bringing their soft serve machine with them!
Swedish brewery Omnipollo started making ripples in the beer world with their experimental and unique beers. They’ve been described as one of the world’s most important breweries right now and have continued to push the boundaries of what could even be called beer in the first place.
In the past they’ve made Chocolate Ice Cream Ale, Maple Muffin Barley Wine and even a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sour – and even though I’ve only ever had their Blueberry Frozen Yoghurt Ice Cream Beer (brewed with Buxton Brewery) – it was absolutely bloody fantastic.
Thursday 14th July will see them offer up three new beers, including their new Bavarian lager, their ‘Fantom’ IPA and best of all – a Marzipan Coffee Cream Imperial Stout, which will be served with a frozen SOFT SERVE head – perfect for these too-hot days in the city.
Ridiculously tasty and cold enough to give you brain freeze, it’s hard to think of a better remedy for this weather, and when paired with Wolf’s £1 tacos and baos – you know you’re in for a top day.
