Back in Lockdown number 1, Tattu, the contemporary Chinese restaurant over on Spinningfields, launched an at-home delivery and click and collect service – providing their most popular dishes so they could be enjoyed at home.
Well, this week they’re re-launching the service – time to get excited!
Gone are the days when you’re stuck with a thick and gloopy Sweet & Sour Chicken, a few damp Prawn Crackers and Spring Rolls which look like they could be used to hit a home run, this is the most delectable Chinese takeaway and delivery you can imagine.
Tattu To You offers up a mightily impressive Set Sharing Menu (£95), alongside a range of much-loved Tattu Dim Sum and Large Plates, as well as beers and wines to wash it all down with.
You’ll find a large selection of Dim Sum, such as their Lobster & Prawn Toast (£9), Peking Duck Spring Rolls (£9) and my absolute favourite – their Sticky Beef Short Ribs (£10).
In addition, there’s a long list of Large Plates including Aromatic Crispy Duck Pancakes (£21), their extravagant Caramel Soy Beef Fillet (£31), and something new – White Miso Salmon (£21) with black pepper, pickled ginger and a cucumber salad.
Finally, you can top it all off with an indulgent dessert – like their Asian Pear Sticky Toffee Pudding (£8). Wow.
New to Tattu to You is their HUGE Sharing Set Menu (£95) which takes away the need to decide what you want – because you’ll get pretty much everything on the menu!
Starting with the Lotus Chip Mess, you then move onto Crispy Duck Spring Rolls and Lobster and Prawn Toast. The menu also includes the Caramel Soy Beef Fillet and new White Miso Salmon, with Special Fried Sweet Potato and the fantastic Duck Egg and Chinese Sausage Fried Rice on the side. Finally, you’ll be finishing the whole thing off with Tattu’s signature Banana Fritters.
When your food arrives (or you go to pick it up) most dishes can be finished out of their containers after a short stint in the oven or a few minutes in a hot wok or saucepan, allowing you to get that true restaurant experience in your own house.
