Don Giovanni have launched a selection of Christmas hampers to help its customers get through the new lockdown. Despite not having customers eating inside its restaurant, the Italian restaurant will be delivering a range of hampers filled with Italian goodies across the city.

Starting from just £25, Don Giovanni has created three different types of hampers: their Taste Of Italy Hamper (£25), Festive Italian Hamper (£50), and the Christmas Feast Hamper (£75). All are available to order for delivery or collection from the restaurant.

Packaged up in charming wicker baskets and filled with eco-friendly stuffing, they make a beautiful present for the foodie in your life as well as offering loyal customers a new way to support the independent restaurant throughout this new period of forced closure.

Taste Of Italy Hamper
Their Taste Of Italy Hamper is inspired by the Italian tradition of aperitivo and is designed for an evening of drinks and nibbles, filled with tarrelini, grissini sticks, olives in brine and amaretto biscuits as well as a miniature bottle of Don Giovanni’s housemade limoncello and all the ingredients you need to make your own Aperol Spritz (aperol, soda, prosecco and an orange for garnish).

Festive Italian Hamper
The Festive Italian Hamper, meanwhile, is more of a traditional hamper to pick at over the festive period. It comes stuffed with grissini, balsamic vinegar from Modena, tricolore fusilli pasta, chilli-infused olive oil, housemade limoncello, a miniature pannatone, amaretto biscuits, a large bottle of Prosecco and olives in brine.

Christmas Feast Hamper
And last but not least, the restaurant’s Christmas Feast Hamper showcases the absolute best of the best produce for the ultimate Italian foodie. Think white truffle oil, a bottle of fine Tuscan Montepulciano and truffled salami, a huge block of parmigiano, not to mention tarrelini, grissini, balsamic vinegar, pannetone, Don’s Limoncello, dried pasta, olives in brine, a miniature prosecco and amaretto biscuits.

Alongside these new Christmas hampers, the restaurant is also continuing to offer their popular hot takeaway food service – adding their Christmas menus on to their delivery partner sites Uber Eats and Deliveroo as well as making them available for collection directly from the Oxford Road restaurant.
