Already making quite the name for itself through various pop ups across the city, Boneless Brigade is hosting a plant-powered feast in the heart of Manchester at Open Kitchen this week.
Taking place at Open Kitchen inside the People’s History Museum, the evening will be a laid-back affair from 6.30pm until late.
Guests can expect a menu full of vegan street food classics, all made using the freshest ingredients by head chef, Grace Stubbs.
Previously known as being the brains behind fully vegan venture ‘Black Leaf’, which once sat below Alvarium, Grace has a unique take on fresh, seasonal plant-based cuisine.
Now cementing herself as the driving force behind Boneless Brigade, a brand-new fully vegan concept she has set up alongside her partner, Conner Dixon, the menu is super seasonal, focusing on dishes that use only plant-based ingredients, shying away from the ultra processed vegan alternatives.
This week’s pop-up menu feature Autumnal dishes and favourites from the pair’s already highly esteemed menu. Grace’s Fun Guy Wings, made using oyster mushrooms and the Saving Nemo Tacos – which substitute fish for a jackfruit alternative – are both on the menu, alongside new dishes created solely for the night.
Tickets can be bought for £5 per person, guaranteeing entry and serving as a drinks voucher on arrival. Guests can then stop in after work to grab a bite, or settle in and stay all evening to sample a range of small plates and drinks from local suppliers.
Doors open at 6.30pm and the last food will be served until 9.30pm. Last drinks orders are at 11pm.
