Grab your lederhosen and get ready to celebrate Oompah-style at Hatch’s first urban Oktoberfest taking place this Friday 8th and Saturday 9th October.

Hatch will be transformed into an Oktoberfest-inspired ‘Bier Hall’ for the weekend with long tables, bunting, music, sausages, keg cracking and of course – lots of German bier!

The stage will be hosted by Madame Von Spowitch who will preside over all-day entertainment.

Live Bavarian music will come courtesy of Oompah extraordinaires Brasswurst who’ll be mixing classic German drinking songs alongside modern pop tunes given an oompah twist… all making for an unforgettable Oktoberfest experience.

There’ll be specially enlisted visitors roaming around Hatch across the weekend dressed in lederhosen and keeping Oktoberfest revellers entertained. Fancy dress is optional!

Hatch will be serving up a range of Bavarian beers especially for the weekend including the full range from Bavarian craft specialists ABK. This includes their Hell, Edel, Dunkel, Festbier, Radler beers and more.

As the sun goes down DJs will take over the entertainment side of things – playing big anthemic numbers suitable for toasting tankards and Bavarian dancing (with a Mancunian swagger).

There’ll be exceptional street food on offer of course from all the Hatch traders, and those wanting traditional Bavarian fodder will be able to grab a German inspired Currywurst from Hatch favourites Grandad’s Sausages.

Oktoberfest at Hatch will take place on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th October from 12pm until late.
