Not content with just one event happening at Harvey Nichols this Bank Holiday Weekend, there are loads of them, as the Queen’s Jubilee, Manchester Jazz Festival, Manchester Flower Show and Manchester Gin descend on the city centre department store.
The up-market retail store hosts four whole days of summer celebrations that will tie in with the bank holiday Jubilee weekend…
Manchester Jazz Festival
Starting off, the Manchester Jazz Festival is back with some unmissable musical moments, one of which will be held at Harvey Nichols! The store will partake in the MJF Piano Trail in collaboration with Forsyth’s Music, where you’ll be able to try your hand at tinkling the eyes of an elegant Yamaha C3X Grand Piano.
If you snap a short video of your performance and upload it to Instagram tagging Manchester Jazz Festival, Harvey Nichols and Man Jazz Fest, along with the hashtag #mjfpianotrail you could be in with a chance to win a whole host of prizes, including a beautiful Yamaha P-45B piano.
Manchester Flower Show
Next up, as part of Manchester Flower Show, you will get the chance to experience floral activations and installations across the store, from fragrance profiling to a floral masterclass, it has everything you need to make your bank holiday weekend unique.
There’ll also be unique and personalised scent experiences with Tonya Kidd-Beggs from STORIES parfums, and each guest will receive a complimentary fragrance sample to take home. To celebrate the Flower Show even further, Harvey Nichols has also joined forces with city centre florist David Wayman to bring customers a slice of summer with beautiful floral installations.
Manchester Gin’s Pop-Up Cocktail Bar
To celebrate the Jubilee Weekend Manchester Gin are teaming up with Harvey Nichols to bring you summer-inspired drinks in a flower-filled oasis in the city. Follow the citywide cocktail trail as bars, restaurants and hotels around the city celebrate The Manchester Flower Show with a special floral themed cocktail. Enjoy a floral and bright take on an Aperol Spritz featuring Manchester Gin Raspberry Infused Gin and Forty-Five Vermouth Radiant Rose.
The pop-up cocktail garden will include a luscious lawn and be decorated with florals and foliage, complete with deck chairs, a shaded area under a pergola, and tables to enjoy drinks at in the sunshine.
The Best of British Charcuterie & Cocktails
The flower show coincides with the Queen’s Jubilee weekend, too, and the festivities at Harvey Nichols don’t stop there! Dine like royalty at the Second Floor Deli Bar this June with its Best of British charcuterie plate. Inspired by the British Monarch’s extraordinary 70-year reign, the store has compiled all its patriotic favourites into one delicious tasting plate, showcasing the very best of British produce.
Perfectly paired with a special edition Jubilee cocktail ‘The Lillibet’, drawing together three of Her Majesty’s favourite tipples – gin, vermouth and Champagne with a summery strawberry liqueur, this delicious cocktail brings a Harvey Nichols twist on Her Majesty’s favourite drink, Gin and Dubonnet.
In-store, there’s also the chance to Join Harvey Nichols’ resident experts for a journey of discovery through a luxury curation of the best of British drinks including wine, liqueurs, gin and whisky, alongside light nibbles from the Second Floor Deli Bar.
