…and although my knowledge of it only really comes from Janet Jackson’s tit and a dancing shark there’s still plenty of you out there who wanna watch it. Check these places out then…
Bunny Jackson’s
Bunny’s will be hosting the Ultimate Super Bowl Party this year, with the bar set to remain open until well into the early hours or until everyone has passed out from too much bourbon and wings. Whichever comes first. They’ll be offering their divine wings from 10pm until 2am, showing the game on 4 screens and you don’t need to book a table. Just turn up and have a brilliant time.

Dive NQ
Venture down into Dive on any day and it’s likely that they’ll be showing some form of sports, whether it’s Midget Tossing on Euro Sport 4 or the NFL on a Sunday. This Super Bowl they’ve got a wealth of things going on to ensure that it’s a good one, with FREE entry before 10pm, Happy Hours and Beer Pong too. They also have a rather impressive Super Bowl Platter that you can tuck into that includes Mini Hot Dogs, Mini Burgers, a mountain of Cheesy Nachos and 2 pints for only £20.

Black Dog Ballroom & Dog Bowl
Both Black Dog sites are famous for their Super Bowl parties so of course they should be your go-to for this year’s NFL screening. Plus, there’s always an abundance of American snacks and great drink offers to sweeten the deal. There’s a ton of HD screens knocking about, as well as a few pool tables to keep you and your mates entertained during the thousand time-outs and breaks between play. They’ll also be screening the game at Dog Bowl too – so you can have an even more American time with the addition of bowling.

Shooters Bar
Even though you have to delve into the Printworks, past a gang of polo shirt wearing skin heads and a couple of hen parties, once you’re in Shooters (which is in Bierkeller) you’ll be able to fully enjoy all Super Bowl shenanigans. They’ve got a couple of packages available that come complete with US food, US lager and presumably, US service. They also claim to have the biggest screen in the city but I’ve never got my ruler out to check.

The Courtyard
I swear by Courtyard for any sporting event because they offer a massive pitcher of lager for only £9 and wherever you look you’ll always have a screen in your eye line. It’s actually always a good laugh in Courtyard, they don’t take themselves too seriously and there’s always a great atmosphere.

The Brotherhood Of Pursuits & Pastimes
Brotherhood aims itself as a bit more of an upmarket sports experience, and so it’s a great place to book a booth with your mates, tuck into some beers and scoff some platters while watching the Super Bowl. Everywhere you look in here there’s a screen so it’s nigh on impossible to miss out on any of the action.

MOJO
With the night kicking off from 11.30pm, Mojo is the place to go if you’re looking to enjoy ample amounts of food, extensive levels of cocktails and enough beer to fill one of those American-sized Big Gulp cups you find in 7-Eleven. There’s a Table Package available which includes a welcome drink and a huge platter of fried foods.

Shack Bar & Grill
Jam-packed full of American food-stuffs and showing American sports-stuffs – The Shack in the NQ is the perfect place to catch the Super Bowl this year. They’ve got loads of fizzy lagers on tap, plenty of fried food and loads of screens. What more do you want?
