Anyone who has been to the Arndale for a little dinner time treat will have noticed the typically large crowds huddled around Viet Shack, patiently waiting for their Bahn Mi or Quack Fries.
There’s a reason why it’s always busy and that’s because not only is the food proper fit, it’s also fantastic value for money – something that we all appreciate when the calendar starts to inch closer to pay day.
Friday 17th August though sees Viet Shack open up a new location in Ancoats, a ‘proper’ restaurant that promises to be bigger and better than their offering in the Arndale Market.
Of course, the place will be ‘bigger’, not hard when the current space occupies about the same space as a postage stamp, but they are also promising a bigger menu, one with more choice – including vegan options.
Not only this but there will be some Asian inspired cocktails knocking around, alongside a selection of old tasty classics and brand-new offerings.
It’s probably one of the most anticipated openings of the year and as of Friday 17th August at 5pm, Viet Shack Ancoats will be open. I suspect that there will be a long line of people wanting to get in and give it a try and I will definitely be one of them.
