Food, drink and retail urban village Hatch will start their first phase of reopening with a click and collect service set to launch this Thursday 18th June.

You can browse the menus of your favourite Hatch street food traders via the Good Eats website and pre-order a bespoke street food feast (from any combination of dishes across any of the menus) all via your smartphone.

Meals will be ready to collect at the Hatch site, where a specially created, COVID-safe waiting area will be in operation in the courtyard.

A member of the Hatch team will notify traders when customers arrive and the orders will be delivered to the waiting area ready for customers to collect and take home.

All traders will be operating at Hatch under COVID-19 regulations and have completed COVID-safe risk assessments ahead of opening.

Amazing, artisan street food will be now be available to collect from:

Fuku
Mezze
Herbivorous
KBOM (Friday 19th June)
Parmogeddon (25th June)

The Hatch click and collect service will be open from Thursday – Sunday, operating 12pm – 9pm Thursday – Saturday and 11pm – 5pm on Sunday.

For hungry Hatch fans living in the delivery radius, dishes from certain traders can also be ordered via the usual delivery platforms.

Following its closure in March, the Hatch team has been following the evolving government guidance around COVID-19 closely, and exploring ways that the destination will be able to open safely again. Hatch is home to more than 26 independent operators for whom the closure of the site has been a devastating blow to their livelihoods.

In this first step towards reopening the Hatch team’s ambition is to bring some much missed, quality, independent food and drink back to the city centre.

Andrea George, Retail Director at Bruntwood Works, who own and operate Hatch, said:
“The closure of the site has been devastating for the small, independent, creative businesses that make up the Hatch family and so we’re working closely with them to support a safe and gradual reopening of the Hatch neighbourhood. Our click and collect model is the first step in that process and we’re delighted to be welcoming the traders back from Thursday.”
