House of Books and Friends launch their very own afternoon tea in May. Head down to their beautiful book shop and cafe on King Street for a delicious three course treat, all made in their own kitchen. Choose from options including traditional sandwiches – vegetarian and vegan – which can all be made gluten-free too. The Afternoon Tea will be served in the ornate, Grade II-listed Gladstone room, where the man himself addressed the people of Manchester.
