Back at Cheetham Hill’s DBA, BENT describes itself as an “offbeat day rave for queerdos”. Taking over both the indoor party-den and outdoor courtyard, the euphoric party raises money for LGBTQIA+ charities through line-ups of local and global DJs. In the past, headliners have included Slacky, Aiden Francis, Esmé and Kiss Me Again and June’s line-up features a headline slot from the increadible Mystery Affair.
The Mexico-based DJ, producer and label boss channels the distorted sounds of early 80s electronica in her sets, channeling hypnotic rhythms and melodies. She’ll be joined by Weedot and Roisin of Mixing Mates, Bugs Groove of OST, Phil Sanders, plus residents David James and Jase Jeffery for BENT’s first summer rave of 2023.
