American Senator Bernie Sanders will be taking part in a special live event as part of Manchester Literature Festival. The longest serving Independent member of Congress in American history, Sanders will join author and broadcaster Gary Younge for the ‘In Conversation’ event at HOME.
Bernie will speak about his recently released best-selling book It’s OK to be Angry About Capitalism and present his vision of what would be possible if the political revolution took place, and we took an alternative path forward.
The event is in partnership with the Centre for New Writing, Creative Manchester and Penguin. Tickets will go on general sale on Friday 10 November here.
