Legendary British jazz musician Courtney Pine marks his 60th birthday with a special edition of his award-winning project House Of Legends at Band On The Wall as part of the Manchester Jazz Festival. It celebrates the influence and contribution to the UK from the many varied people of the Caribbean, and the re-release of his groundbreaking debut LP Journey To The Urge Within. Courtney’s pioneering career has helped to transform and define the British jazz scene over the past thirty years, leading a generation of players to bring the genre to a wider audience.
