Eat Well MCR, the non-profit founded by Mary-Ellen McTague, Gemma Saunders and Kathleen O’Connor, recently reached the milestone of having delivered 100,000 meals to people in food poverty across Manchester.
By enlisting chefs and kitchens across the city, they’ve brought together the hospitality industry in a common cause, and to celebrate those people – heroes, you might say – who have given their time and resources to help, they’re launching a photography exhibition documenting a whirlwind few years, with pictures taken by their meal coordinator Jane Walton.
The exhibition opens at 10 Tib Lane on 15 January, with all prints and postcards available to buy on the night, and proceeds going to Eat Well MCR. You’ll be able to pop in anytime the bar is open to check them out until the end of January.
