Not only is it National Grilled Cheese Day this Friday, it’s also the tenth birthday of the legendary Northern Soul Grilled Cheese, the city’s elevated toastie pioneers. From their humble pop-up shack by the Arndale to their spiffy home on Tib Street, it’s been quite a ride for this lot, and a true MCR food scene success story. So to celebrate, they’re giving away 250 free sandwiches, plus 10 lucky folks will get ‘Golden Cheesy Tickets’ entitling them to free grilled cheese for a whole year.
