If you think you know all there is to know about Factory Records and The Hacienda, think again. Author and ex-lawyer Audrey Golden has written the book you never knew you needed, one that gives voice to around 80 women who were instrumental in the success of Manchester’s (if not the world’s) most famous indie record label and club. This book launch event sees Golden in conversation with fellow punk rock author and musician John Robb and provides a chance to meet and chat with the author and many of the women involved in the book. The event starts at 6.30pm and tickets are a fiver.
