Ale fans – listen up. The Manchester Craft Beer Festival returns to Depot Mayfield, bigger and better for its fourth year. Hosting the best brewers in the business, the weekend-long event by We Are Beer will take place on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 July, encompassing tastings, trade-exclusive sessions and expert-led tours. With over 65 breweries from Manchester, the rest of the UK and the world lined up, and over 500 different brews to taste, there’s something for every palate.
Set across four sessions, all beer is included in the ticket price, and there’s plenty of street food from some of Manchester’s biggest restaurants to indulge in too – think Indian street food specialists Bundobust, burger legends Almost Famous, NY slices from Voodoo Rays, Middle Eastern delights from MorMor and a Manchester debut from London ramen joint Bone Daddies.
As this year’s Manchester Craft Beer Festival falls on the quarter finals of the Euros, footie fans will also be able to watch all the action on a big screen whilst enjoying a pint. There will also be an appearance from Channel 4 beer specialist and author Mark Dredge who will be offering top tips and introducing you to your new favourite beers.
