Urban mushroom farm and restaurant suppliers Stockport Fungi will host their last mushroom growing workshop of the year on Tuesday 28 November at Track Brewery Taproom.
The evening will be an introduction into the principles and requirements for cultivating oyster mushrooms at home. It covers fungi lifecycle, types of substrate, supplementation, ideal pasteurisation temperatures , inoculation, fruiting, harvest and how to avoid contamination.
The workshop will last approximately 2 hours, and guests will get a free beer included in the ticket price.
