Manchester Jewish Museum invites everyone, of all ages and backgrounds, to its Museum Open Day on Sunday 28 January to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
The full day programme, titled Reflections on Freedom was co-curated by The Creative Activists, a group of people aged 18-25, who are seeking to create powerful acts of sharing and connection with their local communities to help make a positive difference in the world.
The Creative Activists have prepared a new, temporary exhibition, which explores stories of displacement and a packed programme of activities. Visitors will also get the opportunity to contribute to art installations and to visit the museum’s 1874 Spanish and Portugese synagogue.
