Burma-born chef May Kyi Noo runs the pop-up restaurant Rice Over Everything that specialises in home cooked Burmese food and jars of chilli oil. This July, the chef will take over Yes Lah in Didsbury for an evening dedicated to ‘Bagan’ style dining, as she recreates her first time experiencing this on a trip to Bagan with her mum. May will embrace the sharing culture that comes with Asian food through a specially curated, one-off menu full of Burmese-style curries, salads, soups and fried vegetables. The event is BYOB and it’s £5 corkage.
