Head down to The Wayfarer for the Sounds of the Town exhibition, celebrating visual art, music, drama and poetry from across the city. The three-day festival will feature a multitude of artists and live performances, all inspired by Manchester and its vibrant culture.
“What do we hear on our day-to-day commute? What does it sound like to spend time with friends in town? How do the sounds of Northern Quarter differ from the sounds of Green Quarter? How do the sounds of Salford compare to the sounds of Ordsall? We invite artists to respond to these questions as well as their own questions about what makes up their soundscape. We are looking forward to receiving a variety of sound and non-sound based works.”
