If you needed an excuse to go out this bank holiday weekend, Manchester promoters Animal Crossing have dropped an unmissable line-up that will take over a photography studio in Salford from 2-11pm this Sunday.

The nine-hour party at Un.titled Studios is the next in a long list of ventures for the promoters making a memorable name for themselves in the city. Known for their huge Summer Of Love festival that brings some of the biggest underground club names to Manchester each year, Animal Crossing’s Coronation weekend event is dedicated to minimal house over the monarchy.

Joined by Arapu and Nu Zau, neither are strangers to the Animal Crossing community. Creating captivating dance floor moments in cities that never sleep, Bucharest-based Arapu is a master of the electronic genre, crafting seductive soundscapes complete with rumbling basslines and playful synths.

Nu Zau is another leading Romania-based DJ and producer known for his dark percussive approach to the party. A household name in the country, the DJ has also gained approval from global names including Ricardo Villalobos and Fumiya Tanaka – one of Japan’s masters of the trippy, minimal genre.

Completing the day party line-up this weekend are familiar Animal Crossing originals and residents, including; Joey Jackson, Bowes, R.O.Y and Faze. And if a whole nine-hours of non-stop dancing isn’t enough, the after-party heads to Aatma in the Northern Quarter for an additional five hours on the dance floor.

Hosted in collaboration with Unum festival, which takes place in Albania this summer, yet-to-be-announced special guests will command the decks into the early hours of Monday. Animal Crossing are also hosting a stage at the electronic music festival taking place from 1 – 6 June on the Albanian riviera, so the Aatma bash is a glimpse into what’s in-store for summer.

The final tickets for the party this Sunday are on sale now for £21.28, with a ticket for both the day and night party costing £36.96. Tickets for the after-party only are £14.56.
