Hosted at Escape to Freight Island, this weekend Harry Potter’s Witches & Wizards School of Excellence welcomes families onto a one-of-a-kind, magical adventure.

The quest sees Hogwarts under threat as Voldermort tries to take over the school. Families will get the chance to become a certified Hogwarts student for the day, learning how to mix potions and create spells in order to become a master of the defence against the dark arts.

Students are led through the 1 hour immersive theatre experience and into the initiation process before embarking on their first classes and heading on a quest to help save the School of Magic.

By solving problems in magic masterclasses, potion mixing and chanting spells, working as a team is the only way to save the school!

Hosted by Events Live and The Storytellers, the teams behind amazing performances at venues across the country including Highest Point Festival and Blackpool Tower, the event is delivered by professional actors with the ability to engage children from beginning to end.

Director of Events Live, Holly Wignall said: “Families that have joined us at any of our previous events will know how important it is for us to keep the magic alive. The children really do become part of the show. They are truly amazing to be involved with and we can’t wait to meet even more of you this October.”

Escape to Freight Island will also have its usual offering of diverse street food and drink to make a full-day of fun. Guests can enjoy food from the likes of Voodoo Rays, Burgerism, Batard and more.

Tickets are £12 per child, which also includes entry for one adult. Extra adult tickets are £5. Sessions run from 10am. Group bookings are also available.
