Taking place on Thursday 25th July, The George House Trust Drag Ball will celebrate LGBT history through some incredible performances and a riotous party.
The event will be their biggest Drag Ball yet, incorporating many genres of drag and some of Manchester’s most recognisable Queens.
There’s still a few to be revealed but you can expect to see the likes of the fabulous Donna Trump, Narcissa Nightshade and Cheddar Gorgeous – all getting up on stage and strutting their stuff.
This year’s Drag Ball is inspired by the 50th anniversary of one of the most important historical events in the fight for LGBT rights, the Stonewall Riots.
With the support of so many fantastic Queens in Manchester, The George House Trust look to not only highlight the importance of the drag community in LGBT history, but to celebrate the incredible ways that Manchester’s drag community supports people living with HIV.
Samuel Clarke, Community Fundraising Organiser at George House Trust said “Manchester’s gay village and drag community have been huge supporters of George House Trust, both in their awareness raising and fundraising.
“Our last Drag Ball was a huge hit with the Queens and the public, so we’re thrilled to be able to bring it back.”
