Taking place on Saturday 9th November, Homobloc looks set to be the biggest party of the year – with around 10,000 people descending on Mayfield Depot and most likely having a bloody good time.
The brand-new Manchester-based queer party for all, Homobloc will be curated by Homoelectric and was founded by Luke Cowdrey who has been responsible for running these legendary club night events since 1998.
Set across the weekend, The Refuge are getting fully involved with a series of fringe events from Friday 8th until Sunday 10th November – including some pretty big names!
The fringe weekender will see an incredible line-up including Roisin Murphy & Luke Unabomber one deck, a Sunday Drag Roast hosted by Tilly Skreams & Yassica Skreams and wellness activities provided by House Of Voga.
The much-anticipated welcoming and closing parties at The Refuge will feature the world’s most acclaimed contemporary disco queen Roisin Murphy headlining with Luke Unabomber, spinning the finest groove ridden tracks.
They’ll be joined by more incredible acts taking over the decks with Sally Rodgers (A Man Called Adam), Lucy Ironmonger, Club Suicide, Rebecca Never Becky, Claud Cunningham (Black Angel) and Edit Presents. Jaegerossa & Grant Holmes.
