Manchester’s leading psychedelic music and arts festival has announced the first wave of acts for its 10th and biggest edition event to date, with over 60 live acts taking place on 2nd September 2023.
With headliners still to be announced in the new year, Manchester Psych Fest 2023 will bring hotly-tipped psychedelic cumbia outfit Los Bitchos to Manchester for a Psych Fest debut, alongside the triumphant return of noisy favourites The Lovely Eggs, London rockers Sorry, shoegaze five-piece Ulrika Spacek, San Diego’s noise pop masters Crocodiles, Berlin-based The Underground Youth and Welsh genre-pushers Panic Shack.
Further additions to the first wave of acts include dream-pop duo White Flowers, Swiss groove merchants L’Éclair, Bristol-based singer/songwriter Jemima Coulter, Manchester jazz-punks Maruja, dance-punk outfit Regressive Left, gothic-tinged singer/songwriter Heartworms and more.
With plenty of big names and festival activities still to be announced, over 60 live acts will Manchester Psych Fest 2023, as it takes over Manchester’s Albert Hall, O2 Ritz, Canvas, Gorilla, Deaf Institute and YES for a jam-packed day of incredible live music, DJs, workshops, arts, food and drink.
Following on from a blistering 2022 festival that saw the likes of Kurt Vile, black Midi, Tinariwen, Warmduscher, Jane Weaver, Battles and Hinds the festival is set to once again thrill the Manchester crowds.
Festival organisers have worked hard to expand the festival area, working closely with venues to create a safe, enjoyable festival experience, with plenty of opportunities for people to see their favourite acts across Manchester’s premium venues.
Expect another huge event, as Manchester Psych Fest 2023 takes place on Saturday 2nd September 2023 with live music, DJs, art installations, pop-up street food, merchandise and much more.
