Luxury hair extensions made by the iconic design house Balmain Hair launched in Peter Marcus.
Thursday night saw the UK’s number 1 hair extension brand showcased in Peter Marcus Hairdressing, within the beauty department of Selfridges and Manchester’s Finest were there to see what the products are all about. Debuting to a salon packed with press, celebs and regular customers, the Balmain Hair team demonstrated their products throughout the course of a bustling night in the boutique salon.
Tucked next to MAC in the beauty basement of Selfridges, Peter Marcus greeted guests to the intimate event at his salon where they were treated to a selection of tasty canapes prepared by San Carlo Bottega. The prosecco was flowing as the Balmain national sales manager and experienced hairdresser, Pete Statham, demonstrated the innovative hair additions, giving guests the A-List treatment. Mini facials, makeovers and massages were also on offer and we were all handed a luxury goodie bags stuffed with treats to see my hair through the winter.
Pete was joined by the Balmain account manager, Dawn Curran, as they both offered their essential hair tips for the winter. Pete said: “Conditioning is key in the winter months. It’s essential to counteract the constant heat changes and the affect it has on our hair. Products containing moisture should be used regularly for both natural and hair additions.” Dawn agreed with Pete’s sentimants, she said: “Balmain have a fantastic range of pre-styling products that offer a protective layer to prime the hair before applying Balmain Hair styling products which protects the hair against the elements. We’re pleased to announce that the full Balmain product range is now available here in Peter Marcus.”
A wealth of glamourous ladies were in attendance at the launch, including Housewives of Cheshire’s Leanne Brown and Coronation Street’s Katie McGlynn and Hayley Tamaddon, all being treated to the luxurious hair pieces. Pete was also handing out advice on caring for hair additions. He said: “Regular trims are a necessity to ensure your hair piece is blended into your natural hair. Keeping on top of hair cuts also maintains the highest quality look to your locks.”
