You don’t have to look far to find loads of myths, urban legends and anecdotes about psychedelics. There’s probably a lot of true funny stories, and maybe a few that are a bit exaggerated.
But, all stories at this engaging talk will be 100% true, and serve to enlighten us a bit more about what they do, and how they can be used.
Psychedelics have been an important part of human culture for thousands of years, being used in ritual, healing, divination and – as of recent – scientific research.
Did you know that psilocybin (the active ingredient in mushrooms), LSD, DMT and ayahuasca may have important therapeutic properties for the treatment of depression, anxiety and addictions?
They’re also being used as important tools to help scientists understand the human consciousness and what makes us feel connected to nature and to other people.
Psychedelic expert, Adam Laidler, will explore the exciting possibilities that psychedelics can offer us, all backed up by current global research. Plus, have questions at the ready for the Q&A!
