Taking place in the heart of Whalley Range, Rummage in the Range is a traditional car boot setup full of trinkets and vintage treasure ready to be rehomed.
The event began during lockdown last year as a way to promote sustainable shopping and bring the community together for a good old fashioned mooch!
Life after lockdown has only highlighted the importance of socialising and the strength and importance of a connected community, something that Rummage in the Range aims to champion.
Held in the car park of the Carlton Club, its first birthday event will see an abundance of traders selling bits and bobs from their recently cleared out lofts and sheds, alongside food and drink stalls and a range of activities.
The Spring workshop is back on Saturday 14th May, too, which coincides with Rummage’s first birthday. The three-hour class (running from 10.30am – 1.30pm) will see guests create a glass globe flower arrangement and unstructured flower blooms in tall containers all for £48 per person.
The car boot sale is £1.50 admission for adults and free for children!
Crepe Corner have also been confirmed as food traders next weekend. Founded by Owners Matt and Maria back in 2021, the business developed out of Matt’s new found love for cooking. They serve sweet and savoury crepes with flavours such as Biscoff, Nutella and ‘Green Machine’ – consisting of Spinach, Pesto and Garlic – all making the menu.
Stalls are still up for grabs next weekend, and if you’re interested in selling some unwanted stock from your wardrobe – or you can’t face staring at that ghastly pile of neglected vases and old bikes in the garage any longer – you can email the team on rummageintherange@hotmail.com.
Stalls are on a first come first served basis and a non refundable advance payment via PayPal is needed to secure a slot.

Rummage in the Range will take place from 10am – 3pm on Saturday 14th May.
