Our first ever Manchester Secret Supperclub took place a couple of weeks ago in Chinatown. The premis is simple, people bought a ticket knowing only that it is a 3 course meal, the likes of which you wouldn’t ususally be able to order, in Chinatown somewhere and given instruction to meet at 6.30pm at the arch.

We had marked out the route to our abandoned space with chalk and after being given an entry token our guests were pointed in the right direction. Entrance was gained by knocking on a closed marked door and being let in by our chef.

After a small walk up 2 flights of cnadle lit steps the room was revealed and the evening began. The food delivered all that had been promised and then some, jellyfish and pigs intestine being 2 of the stand out interesting dishes.

Once the main course had been heartily recieved and before the final drinks of the evening we revealed that we were in fact inside a Yang Sing building and they had provided the catering for the evening. The menu had been chosen by Managing Director Bonnie’s family with her father and brother seeminly providing the most ‘challening’ dishes.

So after our first ever Manchester Secret Supper Club we’ve created as short video ahead of the next one.

Thanks to everyone who came and we hope to see you at the next one, watch this space.
