Manchester's celebs turned out in force to raise money for ActionAid at Sunday's Santa Teresa charity cocktail event.

Manchester’s celebs turned out in force to raise money for ActionAid at Sunday’s Santa Teresa charity cocktail event at the Yacht Club, Spinningfields.

Coronation Street’s Mikey North, Hollyoaks’ Tom Scurr and James Conway, T4’s Darren Jeffries plus Emma Edmondson and Nadine Merabi enjoyed a Sunday of rum goodness, including mouth-watering Santa Teresa cocktails, rum-infused ice cream by Penelopes and rum cocktail flavoured cupcakes by Hey Little Cupcake. The Meat Shack were cooking up Pabellon Criollo, the national dish of Venezuela, all accompanied by an afternoon full of Brazillian music from DJ Jamie Holmes to get everyone in the mood for dancing.

Donations were made to ActionAid from sales of all Santa Teresa cocktails and food plus the Domingo Fiesta prize draw.

The Yacht Club, inspired by the French Riviera, offers Manchester the perfect slice of escapism; lounge on a large white leather daybed or soak up the rays amongst the palm trees on the outside deck. The chic, elegant bar serves some of the finest cocktails in Manchester, as well as champagnes, wines and ice-cold beers.
