New to Black Dog Ballroom are the monthly tasting nights. Each night will celebrate a different type of drink and guests will be treated to free samples, cocktail master classes and free themed canapés. Next is rum so get ready to walk the plank. Celebrate Wimbledon in true British style by indulging in a glass or two of Pimms and a bowl of strawberries and cream. Strawberries and cream will be FREE when Andy Murray plays so come and show your support for the British number 1. The Ballroom in the Northern Quarter will also be available to hire so why not watch the match in style with your our personal bartender! 4th July – Fast and Frank from the Fun Lovin’ Criminals @BDBNQ
American Independence Day will see a band originating from the Big Apple playing in Manchester’s favourite New York Speakeasy bar. With well known hits such as Scooby Snacks which features samples from films by Quentin Tarantino this is an event not to be missed. To celebrate London 2012 Black Dog Ballroom is giving away free onion rings when buying a main meal for the duration of the games….all hungry black doggers have to do is quote the secret password at the bar. The password can be found on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Elliot’s quiz has moved to it’s new home at Black Dog NWS every Wednesday. With a different theme each week it is a bonanza of film, music and popular culture facts and figures.

Transpennine Express – Thursday’s @ BDBNQ
All aboard! The Thursday night party train, Transpennine Express, pulls into Black Dog NQ every Thursday night from 10pm, chugging right through ‘til 4am.
With residents Krysko (WHP), Will TRAMP! (WHP, Homoelectric) and Luke Unabomber (Electric Chair) in the driving seat with support provided by Henry Bird, it’s one helluva ride.
Disfunktional – every Friday @BDBNWS
regular Friday nights which will see the decks taken over by Rich Reason and his blend of disco, funk and soul tunes from the 60s and 70s. Disfunktional will be weekly from 10pm – 5am and will be totally free.

Black Dog NQ resident Stuart Richards with bring his increasingly popular night to the Underdog on Saturdays between 10pm and 4am. WhoSaidWhat? will offer a night packed full of disco, funk and house with a few breaks along the way and even some hip hop and reggae to mix the night up a little.
