Kwazii and Paso from the Octonauts undertook a super special mission yesterday, visiting children at the Manchester Children’s Hospital for cuddles and colouring.
Susan Fairclough, Therapeutic and Specialised Play Service Manager at the Manchester Children’s Hospital said: “Thank you to Kwazii and Paso for coming to visit the children here at the hospital.”
She continued: “Not only has this made a lot of children’s wishes come true, it has also given them temporary relief from their surroundings and situation.”
Kwazii and Paso went to the hospital with the staff from SEA LIFE Manchester who handed out Octonaut hats and colouring sheets to the children, whilst the Octonauts took turns to cuddle each child.
Neil Crittenden, General Manager at SEA LIFE Manchester said “This was a special mission to visit children who are not well enough to visit the Octonauts whilst they are at SEA LIFE Manchester. We hope meeting Kwazii and Paso has made their stay in hospital just that little bit more bearable today”.
The crew of the Octopod enthral legions of fans with their missions to save creatures in trouble. All who met Kwazii and Paso agreed that they had brought smiles and cheer to the hospital, making this trip mission accomplished.
