One of Manchester’s Finest record shops, Piccadilly Records, will be playing host to a listening party for the new release by Panda Bear. The eagerly awaited ‘Tomboy’ album.
We’ve been blasting it a helluva lot this year. He’s used fewer samples than on ‘Person Pitch’, deployed more guitars and synths, and cited Baltimore R&B radio from his school days as a big influence on the album. . . gorgeous stuff.
