Held throughout the country, Record Store Day is a proper massive ‘thing’ now – with more people buying vinyl nowadays than CD’s, 8-Tracks, Cassettes and MiniDisks put together.

Okay so nobody bought MiniDisks but you get the idea. Here’s what’s going on this RSD in MCR…

Exclusive RSD Records
One if the main reasons why people love Record Store Day so much is because of the exclusives. One-off records that are only available for this one day and 2019 looks to hold a fair few gems. Want The Versace Experience by Prince? No problem. As The Lights Go Down 1984 Live Album by Duran Duran? Yep. The Mickey Mouse Disco LP? Certainly.
You can check out the full list of everything right here.

Record Store Day at Piccadilly Records
This year will see a selection of over 300 records available – many of them super-special RSD exclusives but that’s not all – Piccadilly Records also have a busy day of live DJ sets from some seriously big names. Jane Weaver, Tim Burgess, The Orielles and more will be performing from 10am to 4pm (where the party then moves to Common).

Get there this RSD and check it out or you can head on over to Solomon’s from 8pm with DJs and Live Music until 2am.
