Bongo’s Bingo is making its return to The Albert Hall in Manchester from Tuesday 17th January, commencing its weekly residency at the hallowed venue.
After the festive break the team are ready to unleash more beautiful chaos at one of the city’s finest locations, harnessing the irrepressible sense of magic which has seen Bongo’s Bingo evolve into a true phenomenon.
The show has been selling out throughout 2016 in Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham, Glasgow and of course Manchester, with lucky guests winning everything from big cash prizes to Henry Hoovers and lots amazing things inbetween, with rave intervals, dancing on the tables and letting loose pretty much compulsory. Guests with a distinctly iconic standing – from David Hasselhoff to Fatman Scoop – have taken centre stage at select special events, along with the team having already taken the mayhem to Creamfields and Parklife, with even more festival news and many more exciting developments to come soon for 2017.
The merriment is as ever presided over by the legend himself, Jonny Bongo. Jonny is a truly larger than life character, holding court over proceedings and conducting the action with verve and aplomb. He holds the immense honour of the World Record for the biggest ever pub quiz, and gleefully presides over each evening of chaos, calling out the numbers, playing amazing music and inciting plenty of revelry. A night out at Bongo’s Bingo quite simply has to be seen to be believed, with some incredible scenes captured at the Albert Hall throughout 2016, and there’s plenty more to come throughout this year too.
Organiser Joshua Burke explains: “We are incredibly happy to be getting stuck back into Manchester again with our weekly residency at the stunning Albert Hall. It’s a fantastic venue and the locals are always amazing fun, we have had some incredible nights there! We all can’t wait to get back – Jonny is chomping at the bit!”
