I, personally, don’t own a dog (YET), but I will make a conscious effort to stroke every single one that crosses my path, much to the dismay of my boyfriend when we’re out on a leisurely Sunday stroll.
I also love a festival, and genuinely thought nothing could top getting drunk in a field with my mates for a few days, but when I heard about DogFest, everything changed.
Held at Tatton Park, DogFest is held in partnership with Bought By Many, and treats your four-legged friends to a fun-filled day, which guarantees to get their tails wagging.
Try your paw at a variety of have-a-go activities from dog diving to agility, enter the Fun Dog Show for your chance to win Best in Show, or raise vital funds for Dogs Trust as you admire your surroundings on the Big Dog Walk.
There’s also the chance to enjoy sensational dog displays all day in the Main Arena, get advice from a variety of animal experts, learn training trips at Dogs Trust’s Dog School, and much MUCH more! Plus, there’s shopping galore, festival food & drink, and more dogs than you can ever imagine. Do you reckon they’d let me in dog-less?
The festival has been created by dog-lovers, specially for dog-lovers and will take place on the 18th and 19th June this year at Tatton Park in Cheshire. You can buy a separate ticket for either the Saturday or Sunday for £20 or a weekend ticket will cost you £35. There are also different prices available for kids and concessions.
If your idea of heaven is being in a field surrounded by loads of dogs, then heaven really is a place on earth – at Tatton Park to be exact. So, fetch the lead and tell the pup you’re going to spoil them rotten with the ultimate doggie day out!
