Live music usually either means standing in the middle of the MEN while someone’s massive hair gets in the way of seeing Lady Gaga dance on stage, or jumping around in a mosh pit pushing and shoving massive bearded blokes with more tattoo’s than a 1920’s sailor. Well, it does for me anyway.
There’s now a third option though and it involves a whole lot more class and sophistication. Brasserie Abode have introduced weekly Live Music sets on Friday nights, perfect for after work drinks or a lovely little date with that girl you met at Nandos.
Starting this week with Mel Rose, a young female vocalist and guitarist who will be covering a wide range of funk and pop songs from the 1950’s right up to the present day. Performing from 5.30pm until 8.30pm, that gives you plenty of time to have a sit down and enjoy a few cocktails or a bit of grub too.
There will then be weekly performances by different artists – with a full line up available on their website below.
