The annual rowdy weekend of meat, music and mayhem that will take place on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May would not be complete if the succulent, juicy, slow cooked meaty goodness couldn’t be washed down with its perfect partner in crime, an authentic craft beer.

Craft beer revolutionaries, BrewDog will offer smokin’ fans three main draught beers on tap including the beer that began the revolution, Punk IPA, an India pale ale; a 100 per cent malt pilsner, This. Is. Lager. and the citrusy, zesty pale ale, Dead Pony Pale Ale.

These three headliners will be supplemented by three specials that will rotate on tap over the course of the foot tapping, meat eating, beer swilling weekend. The line-up includes the insanely popular terminal extreme of craft brewing, the bitter Jack Hammer, the classic porter, Brixton Porter and the spring season’s hop-forward spritzy saison, Electric India.

The BrewDog Festival Bar will also feature Grillstock’s second music stage which will come alive with a riot of bands producing an awesome soundtrack of acoustic blues and beer-fuelled hillbilly tunes throughout the weekend.

Acts on the BrewDog bar stage include Joe McAdam, Leopold and His Fiction, The Family Rain, Songhoy Blues, breakthrough Southampton band, Dolomite Minor, Grillstock favourites John Fairhurst, Hyena and Big Joe Bone and internationally renowned hip hop turntablist DJ Yoda.

James Watt, BrewDog casino online Co-founder said;
“BrewDog and BBQ. Some things are just natural partners in crime. We”re excited to continue our great relationship with Grillstock at this year”s festivals. For those not familiar with our beer, we hope this festival will be their craft beer baptism. Nothing will be the same again. Hops, meat, music.. what more could you ask for?”
Grillstock Manchester will be headlined by legendary New York DJ Grandmaster Flash as well as purveyors of sexy music, riotous comedy, and sensational dancing the Cuban Bros. Grillstock favourite, the inimitable Levi Roots will also be on hand, delivering some lunchtime reggae and soul whilst indie rock band, The Heavy headline the Sunday in Albert Square. Beatbox Blues band Hey Moonshaker, retro-modern siblings Kitty Daisy and Lewis, country blues inspired Rev Peyton’s Big Damn Band and The Hosts have all been added to the bill, bringing the unmistakable sounds of rockabilly, blues and good old rock and roll to the city’s BBQ fans.”
