In honour of the 72nd birthday of legendary rock icon on Wednesday 5th September Freddie Mercury, Hard Rock Cafe Manchester will host a “Freddie for a Day” celebration.
The one-day event brings Freddie fans and staff together to honour the musician’s life and legacy while raising awareness and funds for the Mercury Phoenix Trust. On Wednesday 5 September, Hard Rock Cafe Manchester will sell wearable moustaches and pins inspired by the legendary rocker to benefit the Mercury Phoenix Trust.
For one day only, customers and staff at Hard Rock Cafe Manchester are invited to join a day full of Queen music, moustaches, and birthday celebrations. There’ll be “pop-a-balloon” giveaways with Hard Rock prizes up for grabs, Hard Rock Cafe Manchester’s very own house band will be playing an acoustic set of Queen’s biggest hits from 5 pm onwards and guests can also enjoy 2-4-1 cocktails from 4pm-7pm.

Customers at Hard Rock Cafe Manchester will have the opportunity to purchase wearable moustaches (£2) and a “Freddie for a Day” pin (£11.95) with proceeds benefiting the Mercury Phoenix Trust. Guests and staff will also join in on the fun with a full day of Queen music and are encouraged to wear their best Freddie Mercury-inspired gear.
