The nominees for DJ Mag’s ‘Best of British’ awards 2022 have been announced, with Manchester producer Interplanetary Criminal storming two categories for his success with track ‘Baddest Of Them All’.

The DJ, who has grown from showcasing the finest underground UK garage to reaching the very top of the UK charts with his track alongside Eliza Rose, is up for both the Best Producer and Best Track award.

After its release back in August, the bouncy ‘Baddest Of Them All’, that has a nostalgic nod to dance floors of the past, became a viral sensation led predominantly by Tik Tok.

Millions of fans began to soundtrack videos and conjure up choreography to the track, which, in turn, led it to number one in the UK charts less than a month from its release.

The 16th edition of DJ Mag’s ‘Best of British’ awards will celebrate the very best DJ talent on the current UK circuit at a lavish ceremony at London’s The Steel Yard on Thursday 15th December.

It was originally launched to shine a spotlight on the homegrown talent that continues to place the UK at the forefront of the electronic music scene, and continues to carry this ethos across 22 categories.
