Under One Roof, which provides a unique club experience, will take over the basement room at YES on Wednesday 8th December following a COVID-induced hiatus.

The evening is intended to give adults with learning disabilities, along with their friends, carers and families, the opportunity to enjoy a proper night out in a safe space – even more so in the wake of a particularly difficult last couple of years.

On-hand to provide a stellar soundtrack on the night, is Jake Smith, an incredible DJ who has played the event multiple times before. Jake, who has cerebral palsy, has found himself on much sunnier shores as of late, playing at Ibiza’s famous Ocean Beach and Plastik.

Joining Jake and getting things underway in style, will be chicMCR’s Sabrina and Jess Rose, who have been making recent waves throughout the city and beyond.

Founder Alice Woods said: “It’s such a special party and I am beyond excited to see it finally return. The purpose of Under One Roof has never been to segregate, but to open up dancefloors and bring people who might never have felt able to go clubbing before into the world of raving.

“Our ravers in particular have had an extremely difficult lockdown and I am elated to be able to welcome everyone back to the dancefloor.”

Under One Roof ensures a reduced capacity, so there will be plenty of room to move and dance. There will be flashing lights and loud music. The venue has a bar and alcohol will be on sale as well as soft drinks.
