Manchester's Pioneer underground radio station - LIMBO is back with 48-hour stream this weekend

This September Limbo Radio returns through freeform radio transmissions from a brand new studio in the city of Manchester.

The relaunch will be celebrated with a 48-hour stream from 12pm on Friday 20th September until 12pm on Sunday 22nd September, which will include a whole host of superb selectors, such as Bruce, MLE, DJ Python, OK Williams, and many more.

This month, Manchester’s pioneer underground radio station will relocate to Downtex Mill, located above Hidden nightclub.

The new studio will now neighbour some of Manchester’s most prolific experimental music venues, namely The White Hotel, Hidden and Partisan, located in the surrounding Strangeways area.

Listeners will be able to lock in to Limbo’s exclusive showcase of music, arts and culture from Manchester (and beyond) with over 30 residents, including Yant, boygirl, All Hands On Deck, Holly Lester and more.

To celebrate the relaunch Limbo have rallied a stellar line up of talent to bring listeners 48-hours of sonic sensations. Joining the celebrations will be:

Limbo’s Connor Cooper speaks of the relaunch, “After a long summer off air, everyone here at Limbo Radio is itching to get back on the airwaves and showcase everything that we have been up to. With a brand new studio, some fresh residents and a shiny new website to show the world, we really are bubbling with excitement!

“We want to get people to stop missing a trick with Manchester and see that the city is a strong beating heart filled with endless talent in every field. We’ve taken time to collaborate with even more show producers, studio hands, graphic designers, videographers and photographers to continue to show off just what this city has to offer.”

The relaunch brings with it a new website, new merchandise, new content and host of events. Broadcasting hours have also been extended, with the radio station now on air every day between 4pm and 10pm – gifting those tuned in two whole extra hours of listening pleasure!
