Offering up his next Sound System event at SOUP kitchen, Slowpo is celebrating the event’s first anniversary in style this Friday with a line-up of talented musicians and free Magnum wine.
Calling upon Reprezent Radio’s Oh Annie Oh with support from Sham Steele and Jack Bagshaw, a delectable mix of dancehall, UK funky, rap and world club sounds will be offered up, along with a special guest performance from Manchester’s very own Mowavey.
To celebrate the inaugural birthday celebrations, Slowpo Sound System has also teamed up with Magnum Tonic Wine to give away limited FREE drinks to those stopping by before midnight. The 16.5% Jamaican beverage is sure to get partygoers grooving, enhancing energy for the evening ahead.
Over the last year Slowpo Sound System has thrown numerous sold-out parties and collaborated with big names including clothing and footwear store size?.
Housing some of the biggest artists in the UK Rap scene from Backroad Gee to Novelist, to supporting local talent and giving some of the current sharpest DJs in the UK to perform, the evening’s have create a one-of-a-kind community.
With this still being Slowpo’s ethos as Sound Systems turns one, affordability has also been at the core of the events. Through this, Slowpo has shown what his vision entails for the future of the Sound System.
