Ahead of the gates opening this Saturday we make a few predictions as to who will shine at Manchester’s biggest summer event.
The tickets are sold out, and the weather is forecast for glorious sunshine. As such it’s time to start hatching plans for this weekend’s Heaton Park extravaganza.
Returning to fill part of the rapidly widening hole in Manchester’s outdoor music scene, Parklife Festival kicks off imminently and brings with it a lineup big enough to fill the country’s largest municipal park. From dubstep to dark alt-punk, a multitude of genres are represented on the bill, which runs from 11AM-12PM Saturday June 8th, and 12PM-11PM Sunday June 9th. If you’re heading down, here are our top recommendations from the abundant names on the programme, along with where to find them, but feel free to amend as is necessary.
