Showcasing an array of UK based photographers and DJs as part of its mission to shine a light on new wave talent, The Loft will be transformed into a gallery for one day only.

Soundtracked by a special line-up of DJs that will meander through genres to provide a sonically pleasing backdrop for the displayed artwork, El Jimador will also be supplying a complimentary Paloma for the first 100 guests to attend on Saturday 26th November.

PALOMA. a resident club night at The Loft saw its third instalment at the start of this month.

Curated by the team to showcase the biggest international artists and Manchester’s best DJs side by side, collaboration with local artists has been fundamental to PALOMA., with a local photographer selected each month to supply an assortment of their works.

PALOMA. Exhibition 001 will provide an opportunity to showcase these artists in a physical space in addition to a digital space, bringing their photos back to life.

The debut exhibition will feature DJ and curator, Jordan K Joseph, whose style and artistic direction is informed by his love for music and the underground clubbing world. Annie Woodall is a Stockport based photographer who captures scenes from her day to day life in South Manchester. Her works showcase her keen eye for capturing the beauty in the ordinary – natural moments in their original environment.

Documcr AKA Harry Flaherty, the first collaborator of PALOMA. creates art that brings to life familiarities of places, faces and experiences we share, while Lithuanian native Egle Bidvaite specialises in photographing night-time culture and scenes of Manchester.

Abbie Fowler’s craft is located between the realms of photojournalism and landscape photography, exclusively on film. She will be presenting her signature postcards, which aim to explore new possibilities for image making and meaning.

Rhianna Austin will be bringing her varied style of photography, focusing on people in places whether that be incorporated within landscapes or nightclubs. Her main goal, to highlight a sense of beauty in any setting.

An eclectic array of sounds will bless guests’ ears throughout the evening. Kicking off will be Unity Radio’s Adele Tondu, alongside Jordan K Joseph – a multi-discipline artist who will be getting in the booth too. Expect anything from electro and techno to softer sounds from the world of soul, house and hip-hop.

From 7pm, Zuri will be picking up the pace to get the party going. Originally from Spain, she is renowned for her high energy sets. And to close off the evening, a very special B2B with one of the most scintillating musicians in the UK right now, Manami and the techno and UK bass fusionist selector, INGI.

A classically trained artist, Manami has turned her hand to the sounds of house, electro and disco to name a few. Recently coming off the back of a tour with Bicep, she’ll be jumping on the decks at The Loft for her debut. With releases on the likes of Scuffed and Fly By Night records, and part of the team behind Floorless Festival, INGI is sure to bring his unique flair to this B2B.
